Giving is what Red Shoe Society Chicago is all about – giving time, inspiration, creativity, and funds to help families with hospitalized children at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana get better together.
Red Shoe Society Chicago is a networking group of philanthropic professionals whose shared goal is to raise resources, broaden the volunteer base, and enhance awareness of the Charity across the Chicagoland community.
Members help provide meals for families staying at the Houses and host fundraising events, supply drives, and a variety of seasonal activities to lift the spirits of House guests during their stay.

Membership Requirements
- Attend at least eight, monthly all-member meetings
- Attend at least two volunteer events annually
- Pay annual membership dues of $300 ($25/month)
- Attend and purchase a ticket for Red Shoe Society fundraising events (two per year)
- Join and actively participate in a Red Shoe Society committee
- Bring one prospective RSSC member to one event annually
- Achieve an annual fundraising minimum of $500

- Lead efforts to recruit, engage, and retain members
- Own membership onboarding and renewals
- Refine membership processes and establish new member cohorts and orientations
- Educate and spread awareness about Ronald McDonald House and Red Shoe Society

Family Enrichment Committee
- Create engaging activities for families at the House
- Connect Red Shoe Society directly to the Ronald McDonald House mission through volunteer initiatives
- Foster engagement and participation in Ronald McDonald House Charity events and initiatives
- Secure in-kind donations from vendors and corporate partners for Red Shoe Society volunteer events
