Red Shoe Society & Advisory Councils
The Red Shoe Society
The Red Shoe Society Chicago is a group of young professionals who seek to engage, empower, and inspire young professionals to participate in volunteer and leadership endeavors, grow the next generation of philanthropists, and build awareness of our Charity.
Members get involved in activities including providing meals to families, hosting fundraising/family events, and networking with other philanthropic professionals.
Teen Advisory Council
Our House Teen Advisory Council is an opportunity for promising, service-oriented students to learn about philanthropy and nonprofit management.
Members act as ambassadors to raise awareness and interest in the Charity throughout their school communities. Teen Advisory Councils are active at each of our five Ronald McDonald Houses and at our Ronald McDonald Family Room in Edward Hospital.
To participate, members must be over 16 years old, a junior or senior in high school, and have consent from a parent or guardian.
Participants are expected to attend monthly meetings and support and attend fundraising events for the chosen House or Family Room.

Golden Hearts Alliance
Members of the Golden Hearts Alliance are community leaders and Charity supporters whose goal is to help families get better together.
They are among our most dedicated supporters who volunteer their time, treasure, and talent to ensure that the resources exist to fulfill our mission each day, for each family that stays with us, and every child seen at one of our Care Mobiles.
This member-led group supports the Charity through events, activities, and volunteer opportunities that raise funds and awareness of our Ronald McDonald House, Family Room, and Care Mobile programs. Golden Hearts Alliance members also support the Charity through personal networking and by engaging others to commit to helping the families who need us.
Interested individuals can view the Golden Hearts Alliance overview (PDF 181KB) for more details, and can submit an online application to become a member.
