Aliyah Garcia's Family

Aliyah Garcia was only a few weeks from her fifth birthday when doctors diagnosed her with leukemia that would eventually lead to four rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. But even after everything Aliyah experienced, her stay at Ronald McDonald House with her family inspired her to help other families going through the same thing.

Eller Schafer's Family

At just 5 months old, Eller underwent open heart surgery to repair his heart. Since then, he visits his cardiologist yearly to monitor his health. Ronald McDonald House has remained Eller's family's constant support throughout his medical journey.

Piper Schultz's Family

The day before Piper Schultz's first birthday, Piper’s parents were excited to take their daughter to her swimming lesson and begin planning her special day. Instead, Piper was rushed to Lurie Children's Hospital for a six-week stay to treat neuroblastoma. Thanks to the Ronald McDonald Family Room in the hospital, her parents were never far away.
