Meet the Red Shoe Society Chicago Board
Nicole Presperin, AON // Co-Chair
Nicole grew up in Minnesota and Connecticut, but has called Chicago home for over 10 years. She attended University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and received both her Bachelors and Masters in Accountancy. She has worked at Aon for the past 7 years and currently acts as the US Controller for the Commercial Risk Group. Nicole has volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House since her son was born, almost 4 years ago, and recently joined the Red Shoe Society as co-president. She enjoys spending her free time with her wife, son and dog, Mrs. Dalloway.
Glenn Talboy, PwC // Co-Chair
Glenn was an original member of the Red Shoe Society in Kansas City in 2012. He served as the events co-chair, until moving to the Chicago area in 2014. Glenn joined Red Shoe Society Chicago in 2018 as Co-President. Professionally, he is a tax partner with PwC where he focuses on non-publicly traded companies as the individual owners/executives.
Kristen Eis, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics // Secretary
Kristen was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She moved to Chicago to spend a year in AmeriCorps, fully intending to move back to Michigan after her year of service. 13 years later, she is still here. After graduating from DePaul University with a masters degree in public service management, she started her career in the nonprofit sector. Kristen joined Red Shoe Society in 2014 and has served as secretary since 2015. In her free time, Kristen enjoys running and traveling.
Tyler Glover, William Blair // Finance
Tyler was raised in Rochelle, IL, and attended North Central College where he earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees. Tyler is the Director of Consulting Services at William Blair, where he works within the Private Wealth Management organization. He has been involved with RMHC-CNI since 2017, and alongside serving on the RSS Chicago Board, he also sits on the Finance Committee. Residing in La Grange, IL with his wife, Mallory, and two awesome sons - Teddy and Hank, Tyler loves to travel and explore new places, spend quality time with his family, and be active/outdoors.
Jim Borgaard, Catalina // Membership Co-Chair
Jim was born and raised in Long Grove, IL. He attended University of Kentucky, where he played hockey for 4 years. After college, he spent 3 years in Cincinnati, OH before returning to Chicago, where he acts as the Associate Director of Brand Management at Catalina USA. He’s been involved with Red Shoe Society since 2012, when he was a member of the Cincinnati board. Jim has run the Chicago Marathon on Team RMHC for 3 years and plans on running again in 2019.
Laura Cropper, Kraft Heinz // Membership Co-Chair
As Membership Committee Chair, Laura is excited to build the Red Shoe Society with members who share the same passion for helping others when they need it most! Laura has been involved with the Ronald McDonald House since 2010, where her journey began as a volunteer while living in Minneapolis. Laura is a Sales Planner for Kraft Heinz and appreciates the dynamic environment of her job. She has an adventurous spirit and enjoys learning new things, exploring different cultures and places through travel, and checking out new restaurants in Chicago.
Ben Lewis, Outfront Media // Communications Co-Chair
Born in Michigan and grew up in Ohio but Chicago is where I have started my family. I am excited to contribute to such a great organization. As a father of two wonderful young boys, I understand the importance of being together as a family especially during difficult times and hope to instill in my children desire to serve others that my parents provided me.
Joe Mitchell, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP // Communications Co-Chair
Joe was born and raised in the South Suburbs of Chicago. He attended Loyola University Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. He subsequently attended DePaul University College of Law and completed a judicial clerkship after law school. Joe now practices in the area of civil litigation defense at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP. He has been involved with the Red Shoe Society since 2017, and he is currently participating as a Co-Chair for the Communications Committee for 2018. In his free time, Joe enjoys hunting for new music and spending time with his dog Dozer.
Maggie Ryan, MOOD | Design + Build // Communications Co-Chair
As an RMH volunteer for over 15 years, Maggie was thrilled to join the RSS when she relocated to Chicago with her husband, Parker. Over the years, she’s witnessed the profound impact the House has on families. She spends her days as the Director of Sales and Marketing for an interior design firm and her evenings playing endless games of catch with her goldendoodle, Marlow.
Stephanie Sexauer, Sexauer Law // Events Co-Chair
Stephanie joined Red Shoe Society in 2018, but has been involved with Ronald McDonald House since she was an undergrad at University of Illinois. After graduating from John Marshall Law School, she opened a private practice law firm, Sexauer Law, in downtown Chicago, where she practices probate law.
Harris Sessions, Grant Thornton // Family Enrichment Co-Chair
Originally from Texas, Harris moved to the Chicagoland area in 2016. He attended Baylor University and received his BBA in Accounting. Harris is a partner at Grant Thornton LLP, where he specializes in audits of multi-national consumer product and professional service organizations. He has been involved with the Ronald McDonald House since 2016 and joined the Auxiliary Board in 2018. Before moving to Chicago, Harris and his family spent three years living abroad in Germany. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Millie, and their three children and hunting, fishing and camping in his free time.
