Happy National Volunteer Week!
April 17 kicks off National Volunteer Week, and to our thousands of volunteers over the past 45 years, we are so deeply grateful for your support in helping families get better together.
Today, we invite you to join our community of over 2,000 current volunteers making a difference to families every day.
The need is urgent. Due to COVID-19 restrictions over the past two years, our programs lost more than 80% of our on-site volunteer support – support that families rely on so they can focus on caring for their hospitalized children.
Here are three key ways you can help now.
Become an Individual Volunteer at Our Houses & Family Rooms
Make a direct impact on families in their moment of greatest need, whether you’re welcoming guests, transporting supplies, or helping our locations run smoothly.
Make a Meal for Families
Give families a taste of home. Whether you’re looking for a team-building activity or a fun way to give back with friends, Meals from the Heart is a great way to be part of our mission.
Create Care Kits for Families
Care kits give families the essentials they need during and after their stays. Groups of all sizes and ages can get involved from anywhere!
Whether you’re able to volunteer for one afternoon or commit to volunteering for a year, at our Houses or from your own home, you make a difference for families. Visit our Get Involved page to learn more ways you can help today.
