When our doors opened in April 1977 at our Ronald McDonald House on Deming Street – the first House in Chicago and only the second in the world – no one knew the impact we would have on families.
Today – more than 130,000 families later – we are one of the largest Ronald McDonald House chapters in the country, providing 172 families each night with comfortable places to rest, daily meals, fun activities, and so much more across 5 Ronald McDonald Houses and 3 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms.
Plus, our Ronald McDonald Care Mobile provides medical care for children in under-resourced neighborhoods across Chicagoland.
