Our amazing supporters at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Chicago team competed against 3 other Chicago culinary schools at the Disney on Ice Cake Decorating competition held at the United Center.
All teams were declared “winners’ since each school represented a local charity, but the LCB cake in support of RMHC-CNI was clearly our favorite and featured the theme “CHICAGO………Cultures and Food”.
Disney presented 250 complimentary tickets to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana on behalf of LCB Chicago’s Pastry team.
The Pastry team was lead by LCB grad Chef Diana Cuevas and included student Irene Dunga, Kim Schuster and Jesus Renteria. The decorated cake was delivered to the Ronald McDonald House near University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital to be enjoyed by the children and family in residence.
