Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children’s opened its doors on June 26, 2012, at 211 East Grand Avenue in the Streeterville neighborhood of downtown Chicago. The House supports the needs of families whose children are receiving treatment at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago & the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
The House, currently the largest in the nation, offers 15-stories of care & comfort for families of hospitalized children and includes 86 guest rooms, a rooftop healing deck and a kitchen filled with home-cooked meals and supportive conversation.
Staying Together as a Family at Ronald McDonald House
Parking & Shuttle Service to & from the Hospital
Families are welcome to temporarily park their car in the front of the House for up to 30 minutes to unload their luggage & belongings with the exception of 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Please utilize your hazard lights. We also have luggage carts for you to use on the 1st floor as well.A shuttle service is on-call that picks up and drops off at the back entrance of the House. Families can park with the hospital at 225 E. Chicago Ave. The cost is $10 for less than seven hours & $15 for more than seven hours.
