About Rob Hogan:
Rob is an emerging artist who uses pointillism to create landscapes and cityscapes. The works typically take many hours to complete (some over 300 hours), and are done with fine point ink markers on paper. His work has been inspired by the students he works with as an administrator at Columbia College Chicago. Using pointillism, he creates transformative works that challenge the observers’ concept of perception: as the works are just collections of over 100,000 points of color. Since embarking as a professional artist in Fall of 2010, Rob has participated in 13 group exhibitions, and works dillegently to create more work.
