It’s back! Just when everyone thought that it would be canceled for the year, Macy’s State Street Annual Glamorama Fashion Show and Concert Event has been scheduled!
Macy’s annual fashion show, “Macy’s Glamorama,” is coming up Friday, August, 21st. This year, Macy’s has chosen Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI) as their charity to benefit. As RMHC-CNI builds the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House this new partnership could not come at a better time!
Additionally, all tickets sold through RMHC-CNI will benefit the Charity!
WHEN: Friday, August 21, 2009
FASHION SHOW: 8:00 p.m. at The Chicago Theatre
PARTY: Immediately following the Show at Macy’s on State Street, 7th Floor
WHAT: The Show…Headlined by Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter Ne-Yo and jazz trio The New Standards.
The fully choreographed runway show will feature the newest fall fashions amongst an incredible rainfall special effect.
Participating designers this year include: CNC Costume National, Jean Paul Gaultier, Just Cavalli, Marc Jacobs, MaxMara, Sonia Rykiel and SportMax.
The Party…Guests head over to Macy’s following the Show to find a “blue abyss” for the techno trendy.
Featuring Wii stations and Dance Dance Revolution, a choreographed fountain, body art and DJ Mel DeBarge.
25 bars and food stations from a south of the board grill to assorted gelato served in mini-waffle cones and gourmet popcorn.
